Most often during the first several years of a battery’s life, no-start situations are caused by discharged batteries. Discharged batteries simply need to be recharged. This often occurs when a vehicle has been sitting, or just driven short distances.
We help customers with applicable manufacturer warranty claims. Battery inspection and testing are needed to establish a defect. Any requested delivery or installation charges will be quoted before service is scheduled.
Warranty service can also be obtained directly through the manufacturer. Warranty centers will require a reasonable time to charge and test your battery, and if defective, replace it according to the warranty policy. Service charges may apply for testing and installation.
When it comes to refurbished batteries, it’s important to note that they typically don’t fall under the manufacturer’s warranty for new batteries. We offer 12 month warranty on all Refurbished batteries. Refurbished batteries have undergone a reconditioning process to restore their functionality, so they may not carry the same warranty coverage as brand new batteries. How to request warranty help
Contact us with your receipt or order number, purchase date, battery model and a description of the problem. We will arrange inspection and testing and explain the next step before any paid service is scheduled.
New batteries
New batteries carry the applicable manufacturer warranty for their model. Warranty duration and replacement terms vary by product. Confirm the warranty shown on your receipt or order with us; a general warranty page does not establish the warranty period for every battery.
Reconditioned batteries
Reconditioned batteries include one year of free replacement for a confirmed battery defect, starting on the purchase date shown on the receipt. Contact us to arrange testing. A discharged battery or no-start problem may require diagnosis to establish whether the battery is defective.
Delivery and installation during a claim
A covered replacement battery and a service visit are separate items. Delivery, installation and other requested services may have charges. We will confirm these charges before scheduling. Contact us about bringing the battery to the shop for assessment.
